RFC unwillingness or unable to use or find a tagger probably cost us the prelim as WC showed what happens when you tag Sidebottom, Brandon is probably going to struggle to get a game at wing or HB but he is probably the fittest and best endurance runner at the club so can he be transformed into a run with player, he can run all day, has a big body and is good overhead he just needs a mindset change and I think it could add to our game....thoughts

Agree need to still be a pretty decent contested ball player to tag effectively brendo is not

To be tagger you have to have a mentality of a niggler this doesn't seem to be Brando... Graham sort of is being groomed for a tagging role right now he is a good tackler doesn't win much of the footy but probably needs another couple of pre-seasons to be peak and to able to go with Sidebottom, Gaff types.

Probably Graham, McIntosh would be outsmarted by a Sidebottom type.
Grigg was a decent tagger until he became a full time 2nd ruck.
Prestia can do a job and still get the ball.

There's options, but Dimma doesn't seem to use taggers very often.

He can learn to tag in the Gold coast IMO.

I like the kid but he has some real weaknesses in his game...lets kick a high ball all the time type of weaknesses and has not handled being a premiership player to well. If he stays on the list due to not getting a trade done, he needs to pull his finger out as his upside is huge as i rate him.

I actually think he needs to go through a Cotchin style transformation.

B.Ellis plays like a pussy but is he really a pussy. He had a pretty rough upbringing that would make you think he could be tougher than he seems and just needs a kick up the ass to bring it out.

I think develop him as a genuine inside midfielder or send him back to the wing in an attacking role. He needs to be running towards goals not defending where he can make the odd critical mistake.

Clearly you have no understanding of the skills required to be a succesful tagger as JT wouldnt last a quarter as he does not gave the endurance..
There are 2 main attributes of a tagger, running ability and concentration...BE has 1 in spades but needs to work on the other
