Just a guess - but I think's it because afterwards Doc and Marty go back in time themselves and fix the error - therefore restoring the 2015 back to 'normality' as the old Biff returns.

When old Biff gets out of the car you will notice he is coughing and spluttering and visibly sick. If you watch the deleted scenes for 2 you see that scene continues and Biff acutally fades away! Makes it even more confusing!
Biff fades away when he gets back to 2015 he’s dead. You can’t drink and live the lifestyle the corrupted Biff lives and expect to live to an old age.

As for Parts 2 and 3, I’m pretty sure they were released at the cinemas pretty close to each other. I remember going to the cinema and watching 2 and 3 together. Great movies and I have them on the Boxed DVD set.

It's interesting, we watched one and two recently, haven't watched three again yet, way more swearing and adult content than I remembered, not bad just bad enough that we thought maybe we shouldn't have started watching it with the kid yet.

These days the popular thing seems to be that two is stronger than three but when they first came out two was widely panned and three was seen as a good return to form and possibly the best of the trilogy

In the deleted scene, there's the sound of a gunshot as he fades away. The story was that he was shot dead sometime in the mid 90s.

Yeah by Marty's mum.

Great movies, my favorite movies of all time. I got the vhs box set back in the early2000s and the a blue ray box set when that became available.

One thing I have wondered is where is Biffs son/daughter, you would think that they would be a similar age to Marty but there is not even a reference to Biffs child in any of the 3 movies.

Good point. Hell for all we know it's Needles who somehow missed all of Biff's genes while the other descendants got them.

First one clearly the best.
Two and three were just ok.
My Gran took me and my brother to see the first one when it came out. It's too late to ask now but I often wonder what a 70 something lady who'd lived through a couple of wars thought of the film.

Went with my wife & kids to see the trilogy of Back to the Future a year ago at the Astor theatre in Chapel St, St Kilda. It was a good opportunity to see all 3 movies on the big screen the same afternoon/evening.

There is a session showing for part 1 at the Astor on the 28th this month at 4.00 pm.
