I was incredibly proud of the Eagles today, but Brisbane had a downer, these things happen. They're still the best team in the competition and still odds on favorites for the premiership. Oddly enough i didn't see any 'cocky' supporters' from brisbane at Subi- the few that were there actually impressed me as a cut above most away team supporters in the way they took the loss. All the best for the rest of the season, Brisbane, and i hope you continue to dominate from here on.. (except for rd 20, of course )

This is just a stupid statement. When did they ever say that they were invincible. In fact Michael Voss stated before the West Coast game that Brisbane going through the season without a loss was not going to happen.

Cocky supporters? Geez, after supporting the Bears and Fitzroy for so many years with so little success, I would be very surprised if many Brisbane Lions supporters take their current success for granted.

If you mean by cocky, that we are enjoying the current success of our team...I'd suggest you get a dictionary and look up the word.

We'll see. From the replay, it looked as if Judd took a bit of a dive. Voss' previous excellent reocrd will probably be taken into account as well. However the tribunal is not renowned for its' consistency, so anything could happen.

Agreed roylion. after years of losses as a Bears supporters we have loved winning for a change. Enjoying it whilst it lasted.But we know our team is fallable, we just enjoy watching them play, hoping for a win. When you have experienced years of Bad News Bears games, the current games are a pure joy to watch.
We never expected to be on such a winning streak,its just fantasy stuff. IN the GF we had the clubs winning streak of sweet 16, and that was a miracle.
Now we can get on with the rest of the season. Hope the injured players are ok, and look forward to watching tem next Saturday night.

I agree.

We have had a tough time for many years and at no stage did I carry on with the boys performance.

I am proud today, as I was Grand Final day.

Posting as long as I have, I can say with pride that Lions Posters are respectful and humble.

Our boys enjoyed a wonderful winning streak, and I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Now, on with the season.
