T'was the week before Christmas, and all through the league
The new rookie signings were creating such intrigue
All trades were completed with the utmost of care
Surely the Dragons another time would not dare
The all-SFA players were all smug in their spots
While green eyed and jealous are those that were not
The Mobbs had been won, the EKA and the beez
The Teflon-Tiger winners are now just plain MVPs
When out in the SFA there arose such a chatter
All other teams wondered what was the matter
The Baghdad Bombers are targeting Premiership #7
When just one to other teams would feel like Heaven
The Leadership Group makeup had easily been settled
Banhammer has already tested all of their mettle
With a group that is the envy of all other clubs
And ably led by the rascally Pugs
They sallied forth on their quest to be great
Yet they already are based on the stats from Hate
Returning are Bovo and the Fijian that’s Cursing
Gotta feel sorry for whomever they’re versing
Legends like Santoz, Crushy, Tony and Ava
Had all been lost to frowned upon behaviour
Yet an endless stream of rookies they do sign
Some too will become Bomber legends in good time
The Baghdad Bombers new season is now started
We will win #7, yet please don’t get downhearted
Some of your clubs futures this season look more bright
