Just found i have one and have been told theres not much i can do and pretty much learn to live with it. Its really frustrating as i can no longer sprint and pull up sore for days everytime i exercise.

Can anyone help me out with this....maybe someone whos had this same problem or knows a bit about it. thanks

Treatment for the underlying cause, such as medication for arthritis or surgery for torn knee cartilage
Temporarily avoiding activities that aggravate the knee joint
Physiotherapy involving ice packs, the use of crutches and exercises to maintain mobility and strength
Cortisone injections
Inserting a needle into the cyst and draining off the fluid
In severe cases, surgery to remove the cyst entirely

A guy I play footy with had a bakers cyst in his knee a few years ago. He had it operated on to remove it.

About 18 months later he found out he had one in his other knee. Same deal. He's now back playing footy though.

Stay away from steroid/cortisone injections.Recent evidence shows that s**t rots your bones.I've had a couple in my L knee, they want to keep trying but no thanks.
