Heard last night very good source learmonth last game in charge , renyolds asked if wanted job said ,He said will get back to them ,now if this source who i beleive is right , wrong ,wrong ,wrong move need just to move on look outside the square , i will throw one up scrobolak , would be ideal ................

He alraedy has a gig. If they are going to change coaches 6 games into a season what other option have they got than to go with the assistant coach?

Anyone got a link the Interleague squad?
Can't find anything except a news article about the Sunbury guys in it...or are the BFL thinking a all Sunbury team will beat the GV?

Your source's mail is completely false.

I don't thinke the final side is announced until tonight. I did see a trimmed list in the Ballarat Courier the other day, but can't see it online.
Edit: Actually, it is on the BFL Website. There are 26 named, so four emergencies to come out. Glad to see so many putting their hand up to play.

Some huge names have pulled out of the Goulburn Valley interleague side.
Margarey Medallist, and probably best player in the league Rhys Archard will miss.
Former Collingwood footballer Chris Egan, former SANFL gun Brad Murray.
All late withdrawals.

Good to see Pat Carriss starting in the ruck in the interleague game. Back to being the premier ruckman in the comp. Not sure where all the knockers have gone?? John M?? Maybe the alias has been shut down. It came out fairly quickly who that was!!

GV beat Ballarat by 38 points still have a long way to go to be classed among the elite, disposal was disgusting especially into the forward line

Hoping to move down from QLD to country Victoria next year. I'm a Physical education/Maths teacher (P-10) looking for anyone that might know someone involved with schools in the region that I can possibly impress and get a job through.

Played with Mount Gravatt 2006-2007 (QLD state league) & Surfers paradise 2008 (QLD premier league) and had 2009-2010 of due to uni/work commitments.

Currently teaching in Cairns.

A CHANGE in attitude and approach from Sunbury Lions for the mid-winter grind started in promising fashion on Saturday with a 33-point win against Ballarat.
The Ballarat Football League leaders chalked up a seventh straight win to remain outright top of the ladder with the 13.6 (84) to 7.9 (51) result at Clarke Oval.

A DAY out from Melton South’s Rex Hickman inspired a 14-point win against Redan and a return to the Ballarat Football League top six for the Panthers at the weekend.
Hickman booted five majors in the 17.13 (115) to 15.11 (101) win that lifted Melton South to fifth on the ladder with five wins and three losses, leapfrogging weekend losers Ballarat (sixth, 4-4) and Redan (seventh, 4-4) in the process.

Another interesting round. How was the Sunbury Vs Ballarat game KA?
and did anyone watch the North city v Lakers game? I believe Mcmahons overseas for a few weeks? are they going to struggle without him to do the bulk of there scoring?

What's going on in the league? First half highlights anyone?

Melton South 6 & 3, not many would have tipped that before the season. Most people would have thought 3 & 6 would have been a good result.

Should have finished East Point off in the last instead on giving them a chance but came away with the 4 points in what was a crucial game in relation to teams making finals.

Can someone explain to me exactly what is going on at South? How could everyone have it so wrong?!

i would say alot of the young kids have stepped up this year and are just desperate to win, Also doesnt hurt to have both Hickman and Sutton in good form in the forward line

MELTON South stood firm against an East Point comeback to win by three points at Eastern Oval in Ballarat Football League at the weekend.
An inaccurate final quarter for both sides meant the Panthers were never headed in the 9.14 (68) to 8.17 (65) win.

Why do the BFL insist on scheduling Sunday games? It ruins everyone's weekend. Leave it at 2pm on Saturday and stop messing around with things for the sake of trying something new.

Idiots.

The BFL like to keep Saturday for decent achieving clubs & leave the pathetic clubs to Sunday. Wardy said darley will be playing every Sunday from here on in.
