would have thought clancee pearce would be a good replacement for roger hayden adding some skill coming out of defence.

Clancee was last seen running away from a Polar Bear at the top end of Africa and wont be available for the next 2 and a half years.

Surely if Headland had to put one game in the WAFL, Ballantyne should have to do the same thing.

It's not like we have a finals spot on the line with this guy, if we can't beat the tigers at home without him then we have no place in September this year.

Give him at least two games in the WAFL I say, then bring him in as a permenant fixture in our forward line....At the expense of Murphy of course.

I doubt Froddo will play in the Richmond game on Saturday... I reckon he'll play Peel for a game or two first. Having said that though, I've watched some WAFL games this year and there still seems to be a big gap between AFL and WAFL level. Perhaps by playing draftees at AFL level they'll step-up quicker?

i cant see the problem in playing him, we dont have a small forward, he is a mature aged player, he as talent, and we need to get games into our kids... hope he plays

Everyone would of been happy for him to debut in round 1 - much like Hill and Suban - but now everyone is cracking the sads. Just bring him straight in Harvs, you got nothing to lose.

Exactly, I doubt we will make finals this year and why not get as much experience into our new players as possible.

In:
Ballantyne
Clarke (im on the bandwagon chops ;))

Out:
Hayden (inj.)
Murphy (omit)

Pretty sure that makes 3 of us, we need to advertise a little better I reckon. Something simple like 'Clarke>>>>>Murphy' should get a few more on board. Or maybe 'Clarke, sadly he doesn't crash packs! But he takes marks and kicks goals'

But no one would have expected Hill and/or Suban to play round one after zero pre-season games.

Who isn't on the bandwagon, that's what I want to know..

I'm a Ballantyne skeptic and at the time was bitterly disappointed when we took him at 21 but now that it's Head v Ballantyne I hope that he plays. :thumbsu:

If it was Pratt or Clarke in the 22 I'd be hoping for Balla's to play for Peel.

The badwagon Stronz is speaking of is for Clarke not Balla :)

Don't think there is much doubt that he'll be playing next week. Got a couple of dodgy frees which gave him goals, but he does look well and truly up to it. Evasion and ball skills are as good as you could hope for.
