Banner vs hawks

I couldnt understand why our banner said "congratulatoins Ben Graham 201 dymanite games" or something like that.

Why 201 games.... did they forget to mentoin his 200th last week? can someone please fill me in.

No they had a 200th last week.I'm guessing it might've been because the 200th was ripped before he ran through it last week.

I didn't pay attention to the banner last week, but i assumed they didn't put him on there last week, because he was under a significant injury cloud.

As far as I'm aware, that was the reason behind this week's tribute to Ben Graham on the banner. The windy conditions last week against Adelaide meant we were lucky to put the banner up at all because it was damaged.

The reason why the banner mentioned 201 games for Benny, was the fact that last weeks banner for his 200th game for destroyed before he got the chance to run through it. The CS decided to make another one, to pay due recognition to a great of our club.

There are a fwe more milestone games coming up as well. I believe its Tom Harleys 100th this week, and Scarlo's the week after.

Jubs is correct.

Both boys will play their 100th games in Round 9. Would have also been Ricco's 250th in Round 9, had he not missed a few games with injury.

Dasher and ScouseCat have said it all really.

So, if you ever see an odd number on the banner in the future, it would be due to some unforseen circumstances that there was no recognition available the week before.

Of course it'll be Tom's 100th AFL game,but only his 99th Geelong game.

The banner will recognise Harley’s 100th AFL match, there will be nothing in regards to 100th match for Geelong the following week.
