You're better off asking the hawthorn board. You'd be hard pressed to find a swan supporter willing to give it to a hawk.

i'm on the ballot website with about 50,000 ballot codes and they're all randomly sorted with no search facility so it's impossible to find if my codes there. This system is so stupid

1x SOLD to Bleeding Red and White

I'll give Ed and Ert til 6pm to reply, if not I'll open it up for sales again.

Want to try and get them all sold by tomorrow so there's enough time for the money transfer to go through and then sending them off.

Just out of curiosity, for those securing a ticket today, where did you end up getting a seat? From what I was told over the phone, only top deck seats were available. Unless it depends on the type of membership.

The tickets I got were way up in the nose bleed section - Olympic Stand SQ54... But that will do!!

yeah, registered with a swans membership, but I can't see my ballot number on the site, i've looked for about 30 mins and it's simply just too hard to find

Great stuff Legend if i hadnt secured a ticket before i recieved your message i would have jumped at the opportunity great to see supporters helping each other out.

I think some Hawks supporters misinterpreted a post I wrote on the main board (perhaps somewhat casually) in the thread about ticket allocations suggesting that if they wanted tickets they could try calling up their friends in Sydney who weren't going to the game, and they somehow thought it meant that they could all come on here asking for barcodes... which wasn't my intention at all and unlikely to be successful, as we should be trying to get as much red and white in the crowd as possible! And to those who have mentioned buying memberships, you are 100% right it really isn't THAT expensive if you pay by the month, even if you only make it to some of the games and it does support the club (which is why we're here).

Thanks to vonn et al who have helped ensure that the board regulars are considered at least, though it's too difficult to police each and every request (which we shouldn't be doing anyway as this is a board for discussion about the Swans!)

Good luck to those still looking... and just remember, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy the grand final if you can't be at the MCG on the day. Chances are there is a grand final function near you that you might be able to attend. Or you could organise your own!
