I was thinking the same thing somewhat.. Hahah. It'd be good to see him play a full game with Peel this week while they have some momentum. It'd be interesting to see the very foundations of the WAFL shake if/when Barlow lifts Peel over the line for a potentially one off match. :p

I actually agree that a quarter as a sub at AFL level would be a great way to bring him back. As others have said, imagine the anticipation and then finally the roar at Subi when he came on! Almost worth 5 goals right there!

With a player as important as barlow, patience is the most important thing. There is absolutely no need to rush him in to a game where we can absolutely win without him

You'd imagine he'd play for Peel league next week, it just get complicated after that as they don't play for the 2 weeks after that. Do they just play him in the reserves and let him get full game match fitness.

I can imagine him being eased back into AFL as a sub -but what happens if we lose someone to injury early and he pretty much has to play a full game.

Give him a full Wafl game for Peel....then maybe if he pulls up ok, use him as a sub against the Dees at the G. We've had two bad fadeouts there this year and he could give the boys a massive lift coming on late in that game. Then give him full games against the two Qld teams.

agreed.

it would break my heart if he came out against the dons and wasn't quite up to it because we rushed him back.
