Jimi was a deserved rock hero in yhe early days of Chisel.
Up to Breakfast at sweathearts and East, it was all good.

Jimmy wrote "no sense" on one of the last albums and he hit the nail on the head.

The boys from Journey basically wrote him all the american heartbeat solo stuff (Niel Schon} in a Gudinski plot to get Barnesy a number one in the States.

The Yanks are still rollin over laffing at his screeching parakeet melodical movements IN THE STUDIO,
They thought his soul recordings were better played on retirement cruises as opposed to launching steaming vical turds directly at the audience.

And their right.

If i was gonna do a soul album I would hire the Funk Brothers for the sessions,not some hak bass player and drummer who had been Jimmis little s h i t m e n for the past 14 years.
