Have you read his latest attack?

What a disgrace!

I implore all suporters to contact the Sun, as I have and register your protest at his constant barrage of negative articles against March and Wright.

Contact them and alert his employer to his disgraceful bias.

Without a doubt Damo is the worst journo in oz.

"Then again, knowing Richmond, it probably won't even bother with formulating a strategic process. It didn't bother with a proper one the last time it changed coaches, instead just giving the keys to Wallace without sufficient thought and analysis of other possibilities. "

WRONG - THERE WAS A COMITTEE TO SELCT WALLACE, WE INTERVIEWED SEVERAL CANDIDATES.

Damo looks more and more foolish evey time he taps on the keyboard. What a git.

SR ... do it properly, go straight to the Australian Journalists Association and register your protest there, as I implore all Tiger fans to do, they will take action against him.

Just mailed to the sun

I have a question for the Herald Sun Sports Desk.

When will Damien Barret come clean as to what he has agaianst Gary March. He is nothing short of a disgrace in his attacks over the last few months on the Richmond Football club. He is without a doubt the biggest muppet I have yet to read.

Today's article ( if you can call it that) fails to actually address anything, he quotes Gary March about the contingency plan, but has he actually heard the interview on SEN. I was listenning to it and the question that was asked was 'Does the club have a contingency plan, if Terry Wallace quit today and would Kevin Sheedy be part of that'. He answered Yes and No respectivally. I work in the real world in IT and for any of the key personel with have plans so that we are not effected if the worst happens ie they resign or are unable to attend work.

The last two coaches at Richmond have been given support and neither have finished up before the end of their respective contracts, what is wrong with that. We are trying to get rid of those issues. If we did sack Wallace then he would be saying, look at Richmond imploding again.

Barett continues to bring up on slow news days something which is being looked into by the AFL and no new findings have been found. This is in relation to Clinton casey and some of his goings on. Does he actually do any research for his stories or does it come to Tuesday Afternoon and after being out to the pub he realise ' Shit Ive got a deadline, I havent got anything I'll just attack Richmond.

This is wrong interviews were carried out over months after Danny Frawley contract was not extended, and people were interviewed. From my memory (without investigation) Terry Walalce, Eade and Mark Harvey were three that were interviewed and David Parkin conducted the process. Would it be too much to ask for some investigation.

I have been a reader of the Sun for the last 40 years, but seruiosly thinking of never buying the SUN again.

Yes Khan ... David Parkin was appointed to oversee the whole process of our next coaching appointment , so Barretts attack relates directly to Parkin then dosn`t it ... wonder what Parko thinks about the article ?

Barrett clearly has some form of beef with Gary March that is more than clouding his judgement . It is getting beyond the pale these relentless attacks on the RFC .

Barrett should be a politician. A shadow minister for the entire RFC. Regardless of what happens or what we do, he'll take pot shots and say we should've done the opposite.
Kevin Sheedy not part of the contingency plan and hes saying he should be. If we said he was, he'll say he shouldn't be.
You're an idiot Barrett.

I think his issue remains with Steven Wright - goes back a while.

If what he was writing was painful, but accurate, then no dramas.

What a goat. Maybe trying to make a name for himself by being terrible? It is working.

I laugh, mostly.

Spent too long around Grant

You can almost picture Barrett frothing at the mouth as he penned that.

That article is absolutely embarrassing, and borderline slanderous.

The moron supports Norf.
Geez I hope we beat 'em.

On a side note - The Herald sun are writing glowing articles on Pratt. Hardly mention the criminal proceeding against him. Why is that?

Judd says the reason he's at Carlton is because of Pratt. No joke brainic. $$$

Hes a w***er. It is obvious that he has something against March and Wright. He should get sack, surley. My dog could spot his biased-ness(is that a word). He is the biggest ****head going around. A disgrace:thumbsd:

Barrett and Thomas should get married -they share a hate of the RFC equally.

Addendum for the Herald Sun publication only.

*Except Richmond.

This article is biggest load of trash I've ever read. I'm all for the harsh, but true reality stuff that is being written but this one crossed the line. His sarcastic slanderous comments towards the Richmond Football Club clearly show his bias. And his personal insults towards Gary March, well if I were Gary I'd shove that four-eyed prick off a cliff. That is surely breaching some code of ethics.

He is probably doing it because Caro constantly lining up North and being surprisingly ill-informed as to what is going on at Richmond.

I like how Caro went rabid at JB for missing a game due to personal commitments but was hypocritical when it came to March. It is more comic than something to worry about. A comment out of the blue has impact, a campaign gets old and boring pretty fast.

What a load of c.rap

the vitriole directed towards March today goes way beyond some sort of little tit for tat vendetta

Going rabid is one thing bu this scumbag has got his facts wrong.

to say we didn't have a process last time we selected a coach is just an outright lie.

I don't like Barrett, but much of what he says about March in the article is true. The part about Sheedy is a bit silly, the part about the lack of strategic process is poor journalism of a biased nature...

HOWEVER...

March did unneccessarily throw the club head-first into a media frenzy last year with his horribly worded comments about Wallace's tenure (and kept stuffing up worse every time he tried to correct the record), he did make the gob-smacking decision last year to set Wallace up for an avalanche of media speculation over the coaching position stretching out over a year and plaguing or finals ambitions, he was talking contingency plans only days ago, and he did call our players mentally weak in public.

At the very same time we were playing some good football and improving solidly last year, March and Free were undermining the coach in public and setting the scene for a year long speculation about his job.

Which part of any of the above makes this man a good president who deserves no criticism?

Which part of his 'accidental' public destabilisation campaign has helped the coach and the players make the finals?

Which part of the above has helped the image of the club, or helped us shake that really destructive tag of being a club which doesn't support our coaches?

I thought the title of Barrett's article was highly appropriate: "March opens mouth, swaps feet"...

...he's a massive liability and should resign.
