There were big reports at the start of the year that he could reach his 2005-06 form again, but that was undone by the Staker punch obviously. Now that he's coming back, his price is still $470,100 making it a fairly tempting proposition for those upgrading rookies. Sure, for the next few weeks he might not score that great, but what about the rest of the season? Anyone going to have a punt and get him (again possibly!)?

I for one, am considering upgrading Mckinley to him this week (both mckinley and bradshaw injured), and then next week picking up Bock (from pfieffer). Or would Brad Johnson or alternatively Nick Rewioldt be a better choice. Thoughts?

If you had him at the start of the yr, then got rid of him.. then getting him back again? doesn’t make much sense does it?

then grab him if you need to trade this week

Why does it matter whether you've had him before or not, surely the decision is just who is the best value candidate you don't have in your side?

Lets say...

You sold Hall after round 4 for $470,000.. and bought say a crap/medium cashy in Bernie Vince for $317,000. Then you sell Vince and buy Hall back in round 11.

He will have made you an extra 635 points (90ppg)... saved you $105k... for the cost of 2 trades.

Not saying this is smart...but it ain't such bad trading.

yeah fair enough, comes down to personal pref in the end, i wouldn't do it.

Well it's a bit like Fremantle picking up Peter Bell or Heath Black twice, isn't it?

I had Hall from the start then traded him for ROK when he got rubbed out. Happy enough with the decision.
