Andy Bews injured his wrist while riding dirt bikes back in the 80's too. He told the club he fell off the roof while fixing his TV antenna.

Buddha sprained his ankle having a kick to kick with a kid while at work and tripping over the kerb.

Tredrea supposedly hurt his back getting out of his car once (or was it from excessive bowing?). Accidents do happen.

Darren Milburn 2 years ago missed a game with a rolled ankle because he tripped on his daughters toy that was left on the staircase.

Joel Zumaya (gun relief pitcher for the Detroit Tigers - Major League Baseball) has had 2 of the more freak injuries you will see.

1. He missed a month (including the first half of the playoffs) in 2006 becuase he developed tendonitis from excessive playing of Guitar Hero
2. He blew out his shoulder in late 2007 when he was moving boxes out of his parents house in San Diego that was being threatened by a bushfire. He is yet to fully recover.

Yep - baseball and basketball have had quite a few.

Lots of time on the road with little to do except practice and play means plenty of time for gaming. Add in a healthy dose of competitive nature and you get guys who spend way to much time rying to out-do each other.

Getting injured due to falling boxes from an impending bushfire is a rarity though. It is a real shame because Zumaya can bring some serious heat (one of the few guys who consistently throws 100mph+), and it is yet to be seen whether he will ever fully recover.

thats what I can remember from footy classified on monday when I was only paying passive attention, so don't quote me.
