Is Kingsley a certainty or a smokescreen?

Reiwoldt's recruitment may hurt Kingsley. Reiwoldt won't need a nurse-maid for 2 years like Hughes, Meyer, Thursfield, Tambling and others have done.

Batsanis is a 'normal' midfielder. Improved over the course of the season. OK pace without being express. Good size - but around the same height as most of the midfielders we have. Pretty good kick - probably his strength. He just doesn't have that one special quality to really make him stand out from the dozens of other rover-types.

Doesn't mean he would be a bad pickup. Only that it is hard for a guy like him to get drafted when there are blokes like Leigh Adams, Ryan Anderson, Craig Bird etc ... literally dozens of those guys around.

Weaver, what chance would you give Neville from Coburg of a spot. Seems after the draft that he might be in with a chance. I think he deserves one being the stand out for me last year in the Burgers.

Unless you draft him in the PSD I hope we get him after you pinched White last year. ;) :)

I dearly hope it's the latter.

There's a very good reason why the cats desisted Kent, and that has something to do with him struggling to kick a goal from 40 meters out in the VFL against boys. :thumbsd:

Batsanis is not overly tall or quick, but very solid player who plays in and out of packs, accumulates alot of posessions, strengths are his long booming kick and his ability to break tackles. Was to me a bit selfish while playing for Oakleigh and didnt handball much at all, i would rather we pick up Leigh Adams but i think Batsanis could be a very servicable player at AFL level.

reminds me of dew, wouldnt be the worst pickup

hopefully some of these kids impress because we have a good position in the PSD not like the ND

That type of player is the one thing we didn't pick up in the draft and I'm hoping we grab a kid who is solid and a thumping kick. I've heard him compared to Moloney and he was likened to Dew in this thread.

We'll probably pick a Zantuck who fits Wayne's preferences at the draft table.

Me either, kinda why I asked Weaver. I saw Neville play half a dozen games or so last year and he impressed me, albeit I only saw one of those live.

Neville wont be picked up by us. The club views him as to similar to guys that are already on the list. He is similar to Tuck, Johnson, playing as the bigger bodied, taller midfielder. He was passed over last year in preferance of Howat but doesnt really fill any gaps in our list.
