Sorry guys, just got sick and tired of reading all the different threads.

Poor turnout from people who went elsewhere.

Enthusiasm was great.

Was a shame to see someone got the Marching Orders from Big Brother, and for something as petty as standing on the yellow line. I am unsure whether he was using our tickets or if he had just rocked up.

A Note for Next time: Dont stand behind us - Because we are all standing. Come and Join us, because we dont sit down there is room for you to stand there.

We tried with that bay - we sorta got somewhere. Hopefully we can get tickets in the area again - if not get all the season passes we have moved to one area. That way people that are inspired by us will know where we are and meet with us.

The yellow Jacket is the symbol of the group - the standout piece of identification that we rally behind.

And did anyone else see those idiots walking home down the boulevard with flags waving and asking for honks?

That was me:D

I must admit the Big Footy group must be congratulated on their effort tonight. I had a good view of you lot from bay 304 and when ever I looked over a lot of clapping, chanting and barracking. A yellow jacket was easy to spot.

I could even hear you at times up on the balcony. Well done to everyone involved :thumbsu:

It was hard to tell if the other people in the bay were getting involved as we were all shouting pretty loudly. They didnt seem to be which was disappointing, just seemed to get alot of weird looks.

I was in a corporate box within about 30 -40 metres or so from you guys and you did a great job. :thumbsu:

Loved the chants etc when the rest of the crowd were acting as if they were in a church during prayer time.

Well done to all!! :thumbsu:

yeah, it was a pity about the no shows - but other than that everything was pretty good. I think the guy that got moved on was just a random - and I think i saw him back at the end anyway.

my throat is rooted now though :D

I had a clear view of you guys (spotted the yellow jacket very quickly) and thought you made a pretty good effort overall. BUT, and it's a big but, that period where a goal has been kicked and the ball is bounced in the middle, everyone goes silent. I noticed you guys were all standing still during those stages (I was directly opposite you guys in bay 139 though so I don't know about the noise factor). I've always thought that if we could get the crowd screaming their guts out not just leading up to the bounce, but after it, it could lift the boys in terms of creating a clearance.

You guys were great :thumbsu: Heard frm the opposite end of the ground, and you were louder than the crows cheer sqaud ;)

Great effort from you guys - could see you all jumping up and down from the other side of the ground. Sometimes could even hear you - I think Jericho got the yips from having his name chanted. :D

When I left the shed the yellow jacket was still there dancing away as well as few VB banners.

Remind me to bring ear plugs next time anyone would think your a bunch of Collingwood supporters the way you were carrying on. I mean i dont mind the od chant but not every single minute....was quite annoying.

yeh it worked well, if we get another gig i would just keep it to the simple chants that every1 knows but for a first time thing it went really well

it was funny seeing every1 turn around when we first started up, went down the front of the bay in the 3rd term and ppl were joining in but as carl and i worked out u still need 1 or 2 ppl around the place to get the whole bay involved, ppl are too scared to do it by themselves but when they see other ppl leading it they join in!

just a few things, we should def keep it simple, i know a few ppl from the soccer wanted to sing one or two of "the gate's" chants but they are too complicated and no1 knows them, maybe in the future when we can create our own chants!

yeah the dead silence of people not supporting is much better. The game was on the line, people were just sitting there.

What else should be done, just a polite clap after a goal?

tonight was seriously nearly the most fun i've had at a crows game

good time had by all, except for the old old fogie the the row or two in front of us...

I think an important point is that its not when everyone is loud that the bay is needed...but when it is quiet...ie after a goal and just before the bounce and when the opposition get a run on

Scare the opposition ...roar at them grrr at them

thats the thing...it aint soccer, all you were doing was distracting people from concentrating on the game

i think you need to harden the **** up... ;)

So we should all sit in silence so people can concentrate? Its a football match, it isnt a free study period in the library.

Agreed. Sitting in bay 139 I know all too well what free study period in the library is like...just be where I am when the opposition kicks a goal or a bounce in the middle occurs. I make a point of yelling but no one joins in aside from my mum.

Are you Troy Wingate?

But on a serious note I wasn't there but I think its pretty cool what you guys were able to organise and this is from someone who doesn't have a particular like for the crows, well done :thumbsu:
