Jesus we're a joke.
We get some nobody called Mark Sorell to coach and he ends up doing absolutely nothing.
We go backwards from Deitz, who is a more than capable keeper and actually good with the bat, to Manou, the most heartless golden-ticket hack this side of Luke Jericho.
We choose Adcock as captain, a pointless half-assed nobody who has never played a consistent season in his life and averages 26.94 as a batsman. Are we DEMANDING poor performers by choosing one as our captain? You don't boot Boof if you don't have a capable replacement.
I went to watch the game yesterday and it was embarrassing. That lard-ass Cosgrove needs a good shock to the system and shouldn't play again until he turns out at a proper weight. With a career with Australia in the offing, what does it say about his mental strength and the Redbacks support staff that he's still a fat blob?
Borgas, Borgas, Manou, Adcock...our line-up sounds like a grade cricket hero bonanza. Elliott is past it and just fattening the bank account with an unnecessary contract.
Is it any wonder our bowlers are going backwards with such an awful team? They have to score all the runs AND take the wickets.

Give Sorrell time, 1st game of season. Cosgrove was bloody unlucky to be out, missed it by 3 inches. Cant agree with you more though about Boof being dropped as skipper, could of certainly waited another year, although his philosiphieswere a bit different to Sorrells I believe. Cant blame Adcock though, think they wanted a yes man as skipper. As for Deitz I think you will find he rocked up pissed to a training session, if so, serves him right at his age. Some of the shots our boys got out to were bloody disappointing though.

Deitz was not picked because he came to training in an unsuitable condition yet Cosgrove has been in that condition for the last three years and is a walk up start.
Reading comments by Cosgrove, I am convinced the boy doesn't see anything wrong with his pyhsical shape when it is clear to anyone that he is not fit enough for ping pong let alone first class cricket.
Making Adcock captain was doomed to failure even though by all reports he is a great bloke and committed. Shame is he's just not good enough.
Nothing will change until grade cricket is sorted out. The standard there is just pathetic but all the amdinistrators don't have the balls to kick out a number of teams.
Mark Cleary bats at three for Kensingoton and got a hundred in the game last week. Doesn't say much for the bowling, but yet Mark still doesn't get selected for this game???? Beggars belief.

Well Adcock doesn't have a much better First Class average than Gillespie and has never scored a double-hundred, so it's not that bad a decision.

The Taits Tait is the new SA team.
Get rid of Manou for Deitz. Lehmann for J. Borgas. Harris/Elliot or Deitz/Elliot open. Maybe even bring Callum Ferguson back. Dropping him last year may have been the kick up the @rse he needed. Cleary instead of Ryan Harris.
