Just going on what I saw of him before the suspension and a few of his marks yesterday, I'm convinced that the 05 model Barry Hall is back. He was actually taking them in front of his eyes and not going for the sooky la-la chest mark option.

He actually seems to be getting air time this season, too. The way he jumps over some of those packs and shows a real hunger for the ball is such a refreshing sight! Even early in the West Coast game he was back to his pack-busting best, and the signs were ominous.

Assuming the Melbourne game was just a blip on the radar, we should be able to consider ourselves a chance this year and Hall will be a big part of that. With O'Loughlin in vintage form and our mids chipping in, Bazza is like the massive cherry on top.

I just can't hate the guy, even though he did let us down earlier in the season. :D

Yep he looks re-juevenated took some good contested marks today, i think our team is gonna give it a real good crack this year, but my gut feeling tells me i would be surprised if we made the GF :)

Yes he had a good game but I wouldn't get carried away just yet. Pretty inexperienced opponent in Warnock and the Swans midfield had plenty of time to get the ball into him. It will be interesting to see how he fares against the competition's better teams.

Yeah agree lets see what he does against the top teams which we play over the next few weeks. Admitally signs were good yesterday I want to see him keep backing it up before I consider him back to his 05 & 06 best.

Yup, his marking has improved. But we've only seen him back for 2 matches. But in saying that, some of the marks he took, he would've dropped last year.

He's up and about and looks fresh. Ominously, he still plays with the venom that can cause opposition blokes to jump out of the way. The seven weeks was just the tonic. Bazza is back, bustlen and buzzn about.

The way he butchered that easy chest mark brought back memories of '07 model Hall .. :(

But in saying that, he showed clean hands otherwise. I'd just like to see him marking overhead to complement his (otherwise) strong chest mark.

do doubt about it
baz is better then he's been in a while
though he did miss a couple of set shorts on goal and a couple of chest marks
but give the old dog a break...it does seem as though a big of '05 is coming back into his game :)

his marking is definitely back.

his kicking is alittle wayward at the moment, but will improve with game time.

basically he is 10x better than last year :D

Based on the way he was moving both before and after the suspension I have no doubt he is back to his best now. With an extra tall in the forward line and Mick in career best form I think he's going to tear a few opposition defenses apart in the run home this season.
