What I've found interesting is the different way men and women react to Michael and to Gretel. Men seem to like Michael and hate Gretel, and women the opposite.

The footage of Michael and David's supposed 'kiss' on the official website has been altered after the Gretel argument on Monday's nominations.

The footage has been extended by a few seconds and an additional camera angle has been added.

The footage shown at the end of the nominations show in an attempt to disprove Michael's claims of editing was not the same footage initially released to the public.

The clip was first released in the premium section of the official Big Brother website early last week. It was given no contextual explanation and only showed this camera angle of the "kiss" taking place:

There was no accompanying article explaining what was happening in the video, however there was a poll open to premium members as to what they thought was going on.

The footage has since been changed to include this additional camera angle, which shows the two did not actually kiss:

Additionally the new clip includes a few extra seconds in which the two joke about "meeting up", giving the context they were only joking about the encounter.

During nominations Michael complained of selective use of camera angles, which was hastily denied by Gretel. Gretel then ordered the crew to show footage of the incident at the end of the nominations show. The footage shown to Michael was the second version of the clip posted on the official website.

Gretel: You've had interviews from dawn till dusk, how've they been?

Michael: They've been interesting, they've focused on several topics.

Gretel: What ones?

Michael: Ahh, the David and myself relationship, that was the question that came up the most. Aaah.. and you know, essentially what I was trying to accomplish in the house.

Gretel: What was the David relationship business?

Michael: You know there was a supposed kiss that took place that never happened... it was great editing by Big Brother.

Gretel: Hey wait a minute

[Gretel raises a finger at Michael, and nods]

Gretel: You want to say that again?

Gretel: Why was it editing? I've seen that shot we didn't edit it.

Michael: I haven't seen the whole video so...

Gretel: Ok so opposed to a discussion, we'll have a monologue.

Michael: Ok, what I was saying was, what actually took place was there was a great bit of editing, because from what I have been told and it is hearsay because I've only been out of the house a short time and haven't had a chance to view anything, so I'm going on what people have actually told me and it does not finish, where it ends in what was shown last night, or whenever it was shown, does not finish the whole, the whole the structure of everything that took place. So you don't actually see me laugh and walk away. So if that is the case then thats brilliant editing by Big Brother. And that is exactly what I'm saying.

[Gretel pauses]

Gretel: Can I just ask you one question before we go onto the next nominations. When you go into the Big Brother house you are aware there are cameras in the house?

Michael: Absolutely

Fantastic to see Michael stand up for himself unlike most of the previous male housemates taht she has taken a dislike to for whatever reason. (Although they obviously aren't put in there for there debating abilities, luckily for Gretel.)

She is a has-been who thinks the show is about her, picks and chooses who she thinks are deserving of the audiences admiration and disgust, fantastic to see Michael shoot her down over a very valid and correct point, while Gretel sat there with nothing to fall back on but the old talk-back radio trick of talking over someone and not letting them finish the sentence. BB Adults only (Krystal's plastics fantastics), and MAYBE Friday night games (Fryzie is funny, and I like how they totally K.O themselves in the games) is the only thing I might watch.

I did a bit of research on the net, detractors say that they are about 45% accurate and do not detect when a person is deliberately altering the way they speak to throw it off. Pretty -weak way of doing it, why not get a real polygraph and hook them up to it? I also noticed they took down the answers to the questions on the website.
