I'm surprise these two have not been recalled, what's the story? are they injured? they are both attacking mid/fwds which is what we need now with dawes out

Beams injured. Foot. ~4weeks.

Beams did have a fractured foot. He did against St.Kilda on 4th June. That said, Opti advised in his training report today that Beams was running around.

It will have been 5 weeks on Saturday since the injury, so I'd expect him to resume playing within the next month.

Caff & Johnno, for that matter, have both played 2 VFL games. I expect them both back in next week.

There is discussion of this stuff on a few different threads. Namely the NM pre-match thread. Training musings and Will we have a full team come finals threads.

A quick summary for those time poor.

Beams is coming back from a fractured foot and has just started training.

LeCafe has not played much VFL footy this year but has now played 2 games since returning from Arizona.

There has been some speculation that both Cafe and Johnson have been given an extra week in the two's to save them from the 6 day turn around between the game this week and next.
