Anyone see the ad for Worst case scenarios with Bear Grylls on Discovery channel?

Gos into bad scenarios (obviously) like a car fulling up with water and a plane wreck and being chased by dogs (on the ad) and shows how to get to safety. He isn't in nature at all. Can't wait.

Love the bear.

But some of his advice on MvW is just hilariously dumb- If marooned in hostile remote environment far from medical aid, you should do as follows -

Step 1 - Undertake pointless and extraordinarily dangerous climb - down water slicked rock/down deserted obviously dried well/up python infested tree/into rusting octopus infested shipwreck/down crumbling sandstone cliff/

Step 2 - Start fire.

Step 3 - Eat the most disgusting source of protein imaginable. Vomit, repeat.

Step 4 - build raft. (doesn't matter whether it is for ocean, river, stream, or middle of the sahara desert, Bear Grylls always needs a raft)

Step 5 - Sink raft

Step 6 - Locate civilisation.

He is awesome. Quite like the new worst case scenarios show.

I didn't think it could be as good as MvW, will still watch though.

Part 2 is on this week, I have since this doco before, it is absolutely brutal what they go through. The FFL will take in anyone but only the truely strong survive. This must watch.
