We've got six more hours of this, Hydatina Physis, so you might as well have a chat with me about it. Maybe I convince you like Henry Fonda in 12 Angry Men. Maybe you still decide to go with jmoo. But let's at least talk it through.

These are my protections, by the way:

Night	Target	Reason
1	MC Bad Genius (successful)	I figured I might be targeted (and I was right!) and I wanted to play at least one day phase.
2	JHF1870 (successful)	I didn't believe the role claims quite yet and thought this would provide the most interesting day's play.
3	WABulldog (successful)	Despite him trying to kill me, wanted to
4	Tarkyn_24 (successful)	Was tossing up to protect myself, but genuinely thought he could provide more for the Village than I could.
5	MC Bad Genius (successful)	I couldn't trust that anyone else wasn't recruited, so protected myself.
6	Hydatina Physis (unsuccessful)	I realised that you held the balance of the lynch, so couldn't possible be part of the Vampires.

The Vampires had two opportunities to recruit - Night 1 and Night 3. I obviously wasn't recruited Night 1 (as I would've been talked out of protecting JHF1870), but Night 3 is possible. You don't need to believe me when I say who I protected on those nights, but if you DO believe me, then they don't really make sense that I'd have been recruited.

The Vampires DID miss a kill on Night 4, but that was down to Tarks' roleblock. And I don't think anyone missed on Night 5, so that doesn't really bolster my claim. I did regret protecting Tarks on Night 4 though, because it meant I couldn't do it on Night 5.

Here's the first time I properly hinted at having the Doctor role. I'd waited until after JHF had posted to see whether or not I thought he was a Drifting Soul, but he played it with a straight bat, so I started to plant the seed that he wasn't necessarily Night Immune because of the missed kill:

I was waiting to see how you played this before adding my 2c. You are always so strident in your claims of being a Villager (White Pawn / Drifting Soul / whatever). But it does make sense to me. Maybe not to anyone else at this point.

Then I doubled down a bit (but probably frustratingly for others, with not much actual info):

For the same reason JHF didn't last night.

I spent a bit of that day putting on a bit of a song and dance, mainly for my own entertainment as I hadn't expected to still be alive. I think I might've gotten unnecessarily snarky though, but then once things were getting a bit weird, I just came out with it:

None of this will probably convince you that I'm not recruited, but I'll give you whatever you ask for if it even slightly nudges you towards voting for jmoo.

Just on this. Think of a vampire bite and astral recruitment as two different game mechanics.

So a Vampiric Drifting Soul can still be "found" by a faction. However you can't unvamp a vamp (you know, the whole eternal life thing), hence they stay with the Vamp wincon.

Just as a reminder, this is something I think we were both in agreement on when Chipmunk (I'm pretty sure) was asking about it.

I was going to show how his posting has changed since being recruited, but there hasn't been a distinct drop-off or change in tone. There's been a gradual decline in posting more generally.

Also, I then had to look at mine as a comparison and there's a massive drop-off, so it's kind of incriminating. My argument against that is that my drop-off is more because I had all that to-ing and fro-ing with MWPP.

I've read back through the flogs PM and jmoo mentioned thinking DP or Porps are likely Vamp Heads, asked about seering DP, and actioned the Porps attempted astral recruit. He never really once tried to protect his potential evil faction.
