Beau Dowler was Hawthorn's first pick (No.6) in the 2005 draft
196cms which is a very good size i hope we really give him a shot maybe bring him down for pre season training... his only issues are injuries his time at the hawks have been cut because of the injuries... boy has talent but do you think its gamble which we could take ?

Is he the guy that broke his pelvis in a car accident or something ??

What are the Hawk supporters saying about him ??

The Hawks gave him the all clear with his physical injuries when they drafted him, but I don't think that they did the work on the psychological scars after such a serious accident. Unfortunately his physical injuries aren't the only reason he was cut.

Can remember him kicking four goals in a game. Obviously has talent. Wasn't Mitch Thorpe a pick #6 also? Struggle to see us picking him up.

Gamble would be at the top of my list of recycled players, then probably Anthony, haven't seen too much of Dowler but what I have seen has left me less than impressed

Maybe worth looking at a few of the Hawks discards, but guys that size that spend 4 years on a list don't get cut for no reason.

I'd have a passing interest in Moss, Muston and.....yes.....call me cazy.......Wade Skipper.
