I have copied this from Saintsational in case someof you dont get to check over there. Thanks to the guy from Saints media

For those of you not able to make it to AAMI Stadium on Friday night, make sure you set your dial to Channel 7 for their coverage of the game. Not only will you be able to follow our Saints against the Crows, but you will also witness special (and exclusive) behind the scenes footage outlining a week in the life of a St Kilda player - see the players as you have never seen them before!

Channel 7 has spent a week with the players and Football Department to capture the essence of St Kilda and what it's like to pull on the red, white and black jumper. A special seven minute package will air in Seven's pre-game broadcast, as well as a half time feature and other snippets throughout the telecast.

- Get inside the rooms after St Kilda's Round 1 win over Sydney
- Up close and personal with the boys at recovery the following morning
- Training footage from Linen House Oval
- Feel the burn with the boys in the gym and experience the pain of ice baths
- Know what it's like inside the locker room
- Exclusive footage and audio from team and selection meetings
- Ross Lyon mic'd up
- Travel with the boys as they fly west to Adelaide
- And a few more surprises...

This is an unprecedented pre-game special that has been put together after a week of filming and will give you an exclusive insight to the inner sanctum of the Saints. It's a true behind the scenes look at the Club and is a must see for any St Kilda (and football) fan, so settle down on the couch, put your feet up and relax this Friday night as we invite you into our Club before taking on the Crows.

Sounds intriguing, I mena I'm sure those of us not going were planning on watching either way, added bonus I would think.

Only problem with it is that i can see 4.5 seconds before Buckley chimes in with how Collingwood was different.

Couldn't believe how totally shit of a job channel 7 did of this.

showed the same conversation twice before the games (Bock, Edwards, McLeod firing or something like that with ross)

and then again at 1/2 time LOL.

Also where we said Porps is gonna be dangerous, once before the game, once at half time and then again during the match.

FFS, channel 7 were hopeless in that regard tonight .

Porps is going to be dangerous you know, dangerous Porps know will be you, will dangerous Porps be know you, gargle gargle warble....

Mini was hilarious though, how I went I dunno how did I go why don't you pan away from me with that camera?

They had a whole week of material and could only generate 4 minutes of NEW video. A quarter of that was Bakes flaunting his skillzz with a drink bottle.

Channel7 = Fail.

I lol'd at Brucey's comment after the main package "very fascinating stuff". Lethal comes back with a blunt, "to be honest, not really".

Yeah it wasn't exactly ground breaking stuff by Ch.7 tonight but it was still good to see a bit of the behind the scenes stuff. Obviously the footage of Ross Lyon and the coach/team meetings were mainly for show. They don't want to be giving away too much in front of the cameras.

I think the biggest insight from Ross was something like "Bock and Rutten, if those guys have a day out and they're playing at AAMI, then it's going to be a really tough game for us". Pretty much just the stuff everyone knows already.

I guess it's all good exposure for the club though, and it keeps us in Ch.7's good books. Maybe we'll get a few more free to air games from them next year as a result. :thumbsu:

Five minutes to go in the third quarter, Crows storming back to get within a goal. What a great time to throw in 90 seconds of a Saints backline discussion from during them week and lose the first 30 seconds of play after the bounce and 90 seconds of commentary?

What was with that? Could they have picked a worse time to show that? Maybe halfway through the last quarter I guess.
