If Cousins is allowed to continue to play AFL would you guys want him at Carlton and pick him up in the PSD. Imagine the midfield of Cousins, Judd, Stevens, Murphy etc.

No friggin' way. I wouldn't touch him at all.

Enough of the Cousins PSD talk let's get back to what we do best.

Take the PISS out of Richmond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope and believe WCE will fire him, and if the AFL have any balls, they'll deregister him too, so nobody can pick him up.

Hopefully he gets his life on track and doesn't Mainwaring it.

Anyways, even if he is available.... no. No way, no how. Got to have standards, and have to build a positive culture.

And we don't want Judd to run away from Cousins again, do we?!

just listerning to Fox Sports News recalling before if cousins steped out of line they could lose Picks & Premiership Points as stated on Fox Sports news just now.

he needs a fresh start elsewhere who would pull him into line

as Long as THE AFL come down Hard on Wce as they did with Carlton.

this is getting Beyond Control, wonder what past players who only played in the old VFL be thinking of
Footy Today they would be shocked in Horror .

at least it takes pressure off us with whats going on over the west.
be intesting to see what will happen

Richmond - Surely Miller of all people could keep Benny honest just like he did Carlton.

I imagine, Chris would probably not be part of it if ben was.
Correct.
Why do you think Judd left when he did?
Was always going to come back for family, and desire to play with a big Melbourne team......but the timing......he'll be thinking now couldn't have been better.

Hawthorn might be a good fit.

The AFL wont penalise them like they did us, demetriou hates carlton and thats why we where penalised so hard. The WCE MAY loose there draft picks but i highly doubt it.

Ben Cousins is an awsome player but he wont come to Carlton. One of the reasons Judd left was to get away from all the rubbish at WCE. Although he is unlike Lance he trains the hardest it is said he is the 1st on the traing track and last off if prob cas needs brun off drugs tho. Top player but not at Carlton thank you or we loose Judd.

I think that we can seriously forget about Carlton ever picking up someone elses drug rejects.

We have the deserved reputation of dealing harshly with people who get caught indulging in recreational pharmacuticals. We sack their arses out of the club.

Whats the point in getting Cousins if we were to only sack him 2 weeks later... Actually that could be a lot of fun... but to be honest... there is no way know that Carlton will consider getting him there.

Judd would have informed the club about the real reasons for him wanting to leave the eagles and I think that he liked our stance on drugs.

I don't have exact details at hand, but all contracts are subject to AFL approval, and therefore can be revoked by the AFL. would only happen in extreme circumstance ie Justin Charles from richmond, the only player to have tested positive to steroids.

http://www.ausport.gov.au/fulltext/1999/cjsm/v3n2/obeirne32.htm

n late August 1997 the Australian Football League (AFL) announced that Richmond Football Club (RFC) player Justin Charles had tested positive to using boldenone, a steroid that enhances recovery of chronic injury. The situation placed the AFL in foreign territory, as no AFL player had previously been found guilty of taking a performance-enhancing drug. Charles’ actions created a crisis situation for himself, the AFL and the RFC, and it forced both organisations to implement crisis management plans to counteract potential negative publicity.

The AFL suspended Charles for a total of 16 weeks on 4 September 1998. The sentence was six games short of the maximum penalty for a first time drug offence.

Greg Williams was also de-registered by the AFL in 1992 for 5-6 games i believe due to payments outside of the salary cap. That was why he didn't make his debut for Carlton until about rd 6 or 7.
