I pretty much agree with waldo (especially his first comment).

I can't seem to shake this strange feeling that we are going to end up with him. I know the club has said no, no, no but it certainly wouldn't be the first time a club has said something and then done something else.

I may very well be wrong but this feeling in the back of my mind won't seem to go away. They say a week is a long time in footy, I'm wondering what might happen in the next fortnight or so..

Can't see it. I agree he is a gun footballer, and I would go anywhere in Melbourne to watch him play. BUT............ and therein lies the rub. Does he believe that he is still bigger than any prospective team? What will be his influence on his team mates?

I can't answer those questions (and they're good questions). I also can't see it either by and large.. its just this little voice and feeling in the back of my head.

the guy is a gun footballer full stop. nobody has to like him just like the way he plays football. Geez i played with plenty of tools who i had no time for but could definately play.

Lloyd, lucas, fletcher have tops 2 years of high class football. if we want to win a flag in these years we need midfield depth. cousins will give us that. With him and Prismall added to the midfield we could actually match it with the class acts going around.

Even with cousins, we have no chance of winning a flag in the next 2 years...
