With Ben Cousins playing for WCE and based in Perth I never quite understood what all the fuss was about with regards to him.

Now that he is playing with Richmond and the fact that I actually take notice of what he does....I now get it.

Absolute superstar.

Did anyone else notice on Ch 7's Gameday that there was a feeder down the bottom stating that Judd had given Richmond a motivational speech ahead of Cousins' 250th? And he hated Ben eh?

Back OT, congrats to Ben and hopefully he can deliver some good times to the tiges.

Ricciuto was an absolute gun in the Buckley mould. Again he would have had a higher status if he played in Melbourne.

I dont know what the hype about West was because he just seemed like a good ordinary player who was just consistent. Never really rated him as a player.

I'm glad for the Richmond fans he went there but a shame that he is a slim chance of playing finals ever again unless Richmond grab a super coach for next season (not Rawlings). I suppose though that that is Cousins' punishment for taking his career for granted.

I still would of preferred him to go to Collingwood and help in a premiership push but not to be.

Congratulations to Benny on his 250th, was pretty happy for the bloke when he kicked the first goal.

I miss him playing for us - it doesn't seem fair that he played his 250th for another club, but I guess "Such is Life".

Ben will make the 300 games mark with your club I rekon, no apparent reason why he couldnt surpass that amount either! Gee I hope the minority of dk jockey wnk head supporters we have dont boo him when he is here round 22.

As for his cockeyness he showed great humility not wanting to celebrate his 250th game too much at the Tiges, he got them to down play it as he realizes that its only really his 12ish game with them.

That said I certainly hope he isn't cheered for by the crowd.

Lets face it, he was given one last chance (of many) by the club and only got away with it through a technicality.

I loved watching him play, but he f***ed the club as far as I am concerned. Ask anyone who is involved with the club or WAFC. He did a lot of damage.

I cannot understand the fans who still want him back.

He played 237 games for us... and you didnt understand what the fuss was about?
Try watching some football sometime.
