Stiff shit. He had a shocker. So did Pav. Should Freo drop him? Dicko has been great for us over many years and today he had the proverbial Barry Crocker. Still love him. Everyone has a stinker.
 
Dixon must be in the team? Don't think so!

For the people that said we need Dixon because he is a senior player and we need the experience todays game was perfect. He didn't get a touch and we might as well travelled with one less player. Mate you guys giving Roughead heat and letting this so called senior player slip through time and time again is shocking. Don't drop roughie again please.

When the heat is on the senior players are meant to lead the way. Our guys just don't do that. Crawf misses easy goals and targets while Dixon looked like a space cadet today. Little may finally get his chance with Willo injured and Dicko having heart enlargement surgery next week! Well here's hoping!:thumbsu:

Dixon said on SEN in pre-season, that there's a direct correlation between his form for the year and whether he has had a full pre-season or not. He struggles without pre-seasons, and this year is going that way.

Agreed. I can't stand it when one bad perforamce sees a player of Dicko's quality get bagged like this.

To the poster who suggested a heart transplant (enlargement) - get a brain transplant. He has been one of our hardest working players for years. Deserves better from Hawthorn supporters.

Some hawthorn folk can be silly.

If it wasn't for Dicko, who would keep the forward line operating?

Dicko makes sure that the freaks i.e. Buddy & Willo stick to the gameplan.

Trust me, Dicko is worth his spot in the forward line. Dicko had a shocker today, but he will be the 1st to ackowledge that.

Hawks are coming. 2009 is when we arrive.

Dixon has been a solid contributor for years. He is never going to be a game breaker but he is an option up forward with beautiful skills. He will not be dropped. I wish the same could be said for ozzie, he has never been a service for the club and he should be checking to see where Box hill are playing for the rest of his miserable carrer

Can't cut it at Afl and never has - no consistency - if the hawks are to have leaders like him we are in trouble - NEED CONSISTANT LEADERS! stop leaving it to the 20-50 gamers!

Your kidding right? He is in our top 10 goal kickers of all time, bit of a fluke then hey?

He has been around while since the hawks have been down (around 14 years - sure to kick a few goals)- won one game with a kick at the siren against Carlton and a few SOLID contributions but has never showed any consistency - If the hawks are to win a grand final it won't be with him!!

On what basis is Little not good enough for AFL when he hasn't been given a chance yet? Dixon hasnt shown alot in the last few games, if you're gonna give Little a chance now is the time, with Williams out. Otherwise, we arent gonna be able to see if he has anything to offer.

So just because he has played for so long he has been bound to kick a few goals?

Guess all those games and goals were just lucky? Dixon had a shocker but he is and has been AFL standard.
