I heard the comemtator say hes was injured and he kept playing for the rest of the game. He proves again that hes a leader and didnt care about his pain and kept playing on to help you young kids out. I recon if he wasnt injured he would of kicked a few and we would of won. Hope hes not out for to many weeks as hes important player up forwrad for us.

Yeah Dixon had a shocker everyone knows it, but a shocker for a leader of a club shouldnt be no possies with a couple of tackles, it should be a 10 possy game. i dont think its good enough.If he was injured why the hell did they play him? a fit forward could have had an impact instead he done squat!

great to see the normal scape goats cop the flack as usual. Dicko had a dreadful game yesterday, I am sure he knows that. When was his last decent game some ask? Last week. Was very important in the win against Essendon.
If we are going to give the more senior players flack, then we better pounce on the majority of them. Wasn't much of a game from Mitch and Crawf was ordinary at best yesterday. Ossie had his normal brain fades which cost us a couple of goals and Robert Campbell had his worst game at the club.
Stop pushing the panic buttons. We had our opportunities yesterday and blew it with poor skills and decision making at crucial times. To blame one player is just ridiculous. I agree Roughy should have played. In hind sight, it may have stopped the ugly flooding game that Freo applied from the opening bounce. They may not have been so Buddy conscious.
On a positive note, the loss might have just been the sting in the arse we needed. A real reality check.
We will beat Stkilda next week.

As an interested observer, i thought last week Dixon was great.
This week not so.
Having said that don't be surprised if he doesn't play this week.
He twisted a knee right in front of me in 3rd qtr and he didn't look overly flash. Maybe just a sprain or a jar but he didn't really contribute after that.

We are huge fans of Ben Dixon in this house, his #32 jumper from the ressies out at Waverley, saw his first goal for the Seniors at the G against the dons, and I hope he plays as long as, and retires with Crawf. mebbe at the end of '09. But with this suspected injury, if it gives Matt Little an eleventh hour opportunity to convince AC not to de-list him at the end of this season, Aussie spirit is all about opportunity knocks, and those prepared to knuckle down. Matt Little at one end and big Zac at the other almost created a sensational victory on Saturday, with their last qtr herculean efforts.

i like Ben Dixon he is a good bloke but this week he was shocking, i think Roughead should have been playing, i watched Box hill on Saturday and he kicked a great goal from outside 50 in the last quarter.
