His kicking was terrible but it has improved, looks great when he plays with confidence and gains distance, is a quick thinker.

I remember one night johnno was a late change for tarrant against carlton in one of his first games and a supporter from our team said,
" OH NO NOT JOHNSON HE KICKS LIKE A *******" maybe hes kicking style is still akward to watch to hes an terrific player for us.

Adds great run from the back line through the midfield and despite his still awkward kicking, statistics reveal it is at a better than average efficiency (IIRC).
