Danny Chartres - played in defence this week and wasnt as good as he has been. He did find a bit in the last quarter when we needed him to stand up.

He seems to have been named in the best a fair bit. I saw him a couple of times last year and I thought he was very impressive. Is he a chance to get promoted off the rookie list at the end of the year and would he be the most likely guy to get promoted this year if a LTI occurred.

Well the deadline has passed to put a player on the long term injury list and promote a rookie but if it hadnt then Heath Hocking would be first choice to be promoted.

Bendigo Bombers vs Sandringham is on 1:00pm Saturday on ABC. A good chance to see how the likes of Demspey are travelling. A must win, I think, if Bendigo is to make the finals.
