He has finally done the interview that is bound to **** Joffa off.


Look for a revealing interview with Eddie McGuire on Bent TV on Channel 31 this coming Monday at 10pm. Ed talks about Molly Meldrum's roast, gay players at Collingwood, and the republic, in an interview conducted by David Mccarthy from the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby.

Did he? well after excerting so much influence on GF day I guess he should have.

Very good job by Eddie last night, he is a media proffesional no doubt. The poor interveiwer would ask a question and Eddie would reply with a 3 minute speech which would answer the question and also answer the next 3 possible questions and plug the sponsors too.

He's a very hard-worjking business man our Eddie, and he's doing great things for the club. I only hope that when the time comes for him to step down (in about 10 years after delivering 5 flags ;)) he goes gracefully and doesn't do an Elliot.

approx. 10000 tickets
what exactly would u do??
obviously there's going to be some disappointed people. what you fail to realise is that the MCG was limited capacity for last years grand final, so of course tickets were going to be hard to come by.

What Essendon do cap you social club i.e those guaranteed a ticket and have a ballot for those rest. Better normal members have a one in 10 chance of getting a ticket than none at all. I got one

OK every club has members who are guarnated a GF ticket. Gold member social club whatever.

If Eddie doesn't cap this you'll have 20,000 social club members with 10,000 tickets available.

Normal Coll members unlike Ess will/do have zero chance of getting a GF ticket.

AS will half your social club members.

Fight the AFL Eddie the wokring class bums would unite behind you in your quest for more GF tickets.

I got to see this interview as I was channel surfing the other night, between my two favourite television programs, Bent TV and Queer As Folk...*ahem*...and I must say it was a cracking interview.

Eddie handled every question effortlessly and is class above every single one of his detractors.

Most impressive part was where he talked about the greater role that clubs must take in terms of giving back to the community. I forsee Collingwood taking a stronger role philanthropically (despite the obvious cynics that will question motive) and am proud that the Club are seeking to find ways to give back, in times of prosperity.

Excellent interview.
