My Mum Brought my Dad a Android Box but it's very Slow and Freezes when trying to Load Apps. Dad Hates it.

So I was wondering what be the Best Android Box?

Only Android Box brands I would ever go near:

Minix (U1 or 9)
Himedia Q5 or Q10 pro
Wetek products

On the official Android TV device side the Xiaomi Mi Box 4k international (not actually much good for 4k) is outstanding value and a great product.

Also depending on your dad's needs, if the current box has amlogic s905 and at least 1gb ram start running Librelec via SD card.

Yep can't go past it. If phone apps are desired they can be installed via xplore file manager (or maybe Aptoide) then accessed via sideload launcher too.
