I barely ever go out for brekky but Toast in East Perth is really great and they do all-day breakfast

Don't rate going out for breakfast. There are so many better ways to spend a morning than sipping overly bitter coffee while waiting 30 mins for a cholestrol-ridden serving of Eggs Benedict at an overpriced cafe.

Acai Bowls are good for you if you're intent on getting out of the house on a Sunday morning.

Thanks for the tip.

When I have a girlfriend I always have (can't say no more as its not 930 yet, kiddies might be reading)

Yeah most cafes these days have wanky hipster overpriced breakfasts where you pay about 20 bucks for a breakfast that wouldn't satisfy a bloody kid.

A pity they don't have the old greasy spoons like you get in the UK, we used to go to one opposite the Acton tube station where you could get a bang up full English breakfast of bacon, sausages, baked beans, eggs and toast for about 5 quid and it filled you up when you were hungover after a big night out.

There was nothing wanky or hipster about that place, they didn't even have waitresses. They just had a counter where some old miserable boiler took your order, then some miserable fat old bloke (the chef) just whacked it all on a plate and handed it to you where you took it to your table and scoffed it down.

You could order a coffee there but it was like International Roast standard out of a kettle so I didn't bother, there was no lattes, flat whites or cappuccinos.

A fry up we used to call those

Eggs, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, tomato and two enormous slices of toast

Yeah they would sometimes give you a bit of black pudding at the greasy spoons like it was some sort of treat, it looked a black version of the urinal cakes you got in mens toilets.

I always pushed that to the side of the plate and pretended I was too stuffed to eat it.

North and Eight in Essendon was good this morning...friend had zucchini fritters with eggs and bacon, HBF had a bacon and egg burger, and I had avo, fetta, dukkah and poached eggs on toast.

Waste of money as a uni student. I work Sunday mornings with my hangovers so I never really go anywhere. Might make the occasional trip out for breakfast one random Saturday or while I'm away somewhere.

Some places make really nice breakfast, and you can't beat some of the hashbrowns the places give you, but most of the time making my own is just as good.

that sounds absolutely horrendous (and i have eaten in similar places in the past)
hispter brekkie > fried shit on a plate

Babka on Brunswick St - Just get scrambled eggs, bacon and fried tomato, and the plate is always huge and I end up not eating for the rest of the day..... fantastic

a coffee and a cigarette in the car on the way to site for work
When my old man was still working, his breakfast for a number of years was a pot of tea and 3 smokes. Can still remember the smell when I walked into the kitchen.
