So what camera angle do you guys use?
Id like to be able to see into the fwd50 when marking the ball around the 80mtr mark so i can hit up a teammate lol

I use End-to-end-far, I changed after my first game because I found the default view terrible and so it was more like the old AFL games. I havn't changed back to see how it is now I'm better.

I use side on far, allows you to see a huge chunk of the ground at one time and you can see alot of players at once which can help you decide when to handball to free up a man. I find it difficult to get it through the middle but once you get to around 50 its easy enough to get a mark or work it inside.

I find the end to end camera angles completely stupid, the rotating camera angle is disorienting and the fact that your controls change while its happening is annoying (up becomes down etc), you also cant see the wings when youre in the corridor which is a huge chunk of important area missing.

Also I dont see why when the ball is contested the camera automatically swings to the "enemy" camera, i.e. facing the opponents goal, would make more sense to face yours so if you get the ball you can lay off quickly and set something up without being disoriented by the camera spin (also the computer AI doesnt rely on camera angles *shrug*).

Is there an end to end where the camera doesnt spin?

I like that too, but when it's on the far wing it's way too far away...

Side Dynamic for me but as quoted make playing on the far wing difficult, especially on my 32 inch TV.

Good excuse to go out and buy a bigger tele, but havent quite got the wife accross that one yet.

Would love an end to end fixed option.

End to end camera with no 180 degree rotation of angle depending on which team is in possession, it just simply faces yours or your opponents goals 100% of the time (depending on camera choice).

I assume it would be simple enough to code (same as end to end but remove the rotation aspect) but saying that ive been told the simplest things are often the most difficult, or take major additions/remodellings of code.

on the rotating camera in end to end mode, I believe you cannot see the opponents behind you, would make it extremely difficult to spoil in the air whilst facing your goals and seeing all that happens, I would have thought Big Ant had considered this view, but these along with others would be the choices behind not having it.

Simply zoom out a bit more.

Rather than the camera being almost parallel to the ground and near the player, move the camera 20 metres back and elevate it a bit more.

Even though the camera swings around I still personally find it the best overall, you get used to it. I just won the NAB Cup on Legend/20 min quarters/extreme injuries using end to end far so it's not useless for everone.

I tried the Broadcast view (can't remember which one). It's usually good going into your forward line coz you can spot up leads well.... but sometimes, especially in defence, it leans the other way, and you can't see any of your teammates up the field.
