Whilst risking embarrassment (something I'm used to anyway), I've got Monty pipping the Len-Dog (who missed a couple of games) on a 9-1 votes basis. Surprisingly Pup nudged Maverick out for third.

1 Montagna 119
2 Hayes 111
3 Dal Santo 97
4 Riewoldt 93
5 Goddard 86
6 Gilbert 61
7 Gram 59
8 Ray 53
9 Jones 51
10 Fisher S 41

Kosi just missed the top 10 with 39 votes. No-one else challenged.

I believe the B&F is only the H&A games.

I've posted early, so some will forget when the actual votes come around (but if I'm right I can bump the brilliance). If I _uck it up I will blame "The Trademark".

Looks about right. Not sure if Gram will come that high though, specially considering he was dropped early in the season.

I hope Kosi makes top 10 though, just so people can stop bagging him :o

That's inaccurate actually, was at the B&F last year. Big Fish got the votes in the preliminary to win.

For the record, my votes based on the 3-2-1 system for the year

Hayes 17
Dal Santo 16
Koschitzke 12
Montagna 11
Schneider 11
Gilbert 10
Goddard 10
Ray 9
Gardiner 9
Riewoldt 8
Jones 6
Milne 3
Armitage 2
Gram 2
Dawson 2
Geary 2
R. Clarke 1
King 1
McEvoy 1

Shows how misleading the 3-1 can be, with Freddo and Faz shading Maverick.

Still think Monty has shown The Trademark as well as Lenny, who has missed games.

But now that finals are included, and after Lenny's red hot game last week, there could still be movement at the station.

Montagna would probably be the favourite. Has really stepped up this year to become an elite player and been very consistent. Lenny Hayes has been outstanding too but the amount of games he missed may count against him.

Riewoldt, Dal Santo and Goddard have all had great years and would all be worthy winners. Thought Gilbert would have been a big chance too at the halfway mark of the season but he has dropped off a bit in the second half of the year with injury and a drop in form.

Would not surprise if Blakey rated a little higher in the coaches eyes, along with CJ.

I was thinking of CJ but then Ross' public speaking of him being beaten by Kerr and what have you stood out and "naah he won't make top 5 if Ross thought that!" But yeah, I wouldn't be surprised either since really he's done nothing wrong yet and seemed to have grown into the role far better than probably anyone would have hoped he would.

So while Mission is being boofed I suppose I'll have to cover SOS if Blakey gets in. XD

The Big Blonde Bloke won mine ... again.

His effort and performance are just so consistently good - he may end up winnining 7 or 8 if he wins this year.

Dal Santo, Montagna or Hayes would all be worthy winners. Gilbert and Goddard outsiders, with Ray, Blake, Jones & Gram to round out the top ten.
