or Dimebag.
I Can totally realise what jimi has done and his ability but those two are SO much better and consistently good on all there songs.

I own most of Jimi's stuff and i play guitar myself and as a GUITARIST he is not as good as the two i mentioned particulary Petrucci, although he is very good. I feel he is overated as a guitarist because he such a well known figure and breakthrough musician.
Whenever you think "guitarist" you think of Hendrix and just because of that fact don't automaticlly assume he is the best, He may have been one of the first and certinly the best of his time but with death things can seem greater than they were.
If he didn't die i doubt his work would be held in the same regard as it is.
just my opinion![]()
Just because someone else's music is harder to cover doesn't necessarily equate to them being better. Hendrix is Bradman. That's why you never seen them in the same room together. The Iron Sock said:I'm serious.

I didn't "claim" any such thing and yes he regularly played out oif tune. Why do you think his band used to secretly tune his guitar when his back was turned...Monkster said:you claim I can't post on a music thread and than go on to say Berry played out of tune?
