Apparently channel 7 think they are/have been the best news channel since 2000,2001 ,2002 & even 2003, what is ur opinion?

Which channel do you think watching the news broadcast is the most convenient and just plain best for you?

Well i know 7 news mauling 9 in sydney becuase Deal Or No Deal was so popular there and people stayed on 7 to watch there news as apposed to 9 thats why Who Wants To Be A Millionairre was put on weekdays so i suppose 7 can say they are the best at the moment and i have to agree. I am partial to 7 news, or 10 news cause Sandra Sully is so down to earth as apposed to the presenters on the other channels.

I prefer to watch channel 9, usually shows more local news than most of the other news broadcasts. You should include the Foxtel news channels in your poll though.
Fox news is average, very American and everytime you turn on its discussion about the war on terrorism or weapons of mass distraction. Sky news and BBC get the 5 spuds.

Fox News on Foxtel is the funniest thing going around. No actual news in it at any time, but still **** funny.

As for the free to air news shows here I think they are all as bad as each other. Channel 7's has just began 9's trick of cross promoting their crappy shows at the expense of real news stories, the ABC and SBS are biased towards their particulars and 10 fills an hour with 30 minutes worth of news. Of all of them the one I refuse to watch is 9.

I watch ch10 & ch9.
Ch7 news in Melbourne is a joke.They claim so many "EXCLUSIVES",yet the same story & interviews have already aired on 9 or 10.

Yeah I agree...all the foxtel channels have is american stuff...but it's still interesting to watch..maybe every 12 months

far from true. I think they beat channel 9 3-4 times so far. The closing gap is concerning Mr. Packer though. WWTBAM was an absolute flop... so now they've "improved" the price is right.
