Really missed the mark with this show. Already have a light-hearted post-match show in The Bounce, don't need two of them. I feel most footy fans (like I) want proper post-match analysis especially on a Saturday. Bring back Saturday Stretch.

Since they inflict this me on 504 on Sundays I have seen a bit of it.

So here's my tip, if you want to make a show funny you should get some people who are good at comedy. These people are not talented in that way. At all.

I don’t think there’s an issue with the people they have on it, it’s more that a comedy / music / etc program is so out of place and inappropriate for the time slot, coming straight off multiple Saturday games, and people who are watching Fox Footy at 10.30pm are interested in…….football. Before the Game was a good show, but it was also needing to cater for a broad commercial audience, not die hard footy fans who would like to see the games and issues of the day discussed and analysed (the current panel doing Saturday Stretch would be fine, not that you’d need five of them).

It is a very average cover band.

You can see better versions of bands like this all over Melbourne on a Saturday night.
