What is the best P2P sharing program to use....

I have been playing and have found that Kazaa has heaps of corrupted MP3 files and Overnet/E-donkey has heaps of fakes.

What else is out there and worthwhile? What do you use and what has good download speeds?

TIA.

Imesh is full of spyware (much like the "proper" version of Kazaa) and I always found it ran like a dog on my pc. By far the best p2p program I've ever used is WinMX. It's a little buggy at times and not quite as user friendly as some others, but the actual content (i.e. files people are sharing) is unsurpassed. Great for rare stuff (and a significant amount of Australian files if you're after them). Kazaa has been flooded with fake files by the RIAA, so I don't even bother with it any more.

Kazaa is, as has been said, full of spyware, some of it rather nasty. However the Kazaa network is by far the most extensive.

At this moment

There are 2,439,937 users online
Sharing 469,790,612 files (4,125,696 Gb).

It's true that sometimes there are fake files, but I haven't had one for ages. Just downloaded a movie and watched it today. Perfect.

I don't use vanilla Kazaa, I use an excellent extension called Diet-K. It gets rid of all the spyware, and also allows you unlimited search results, and automatic finding of more sources, as well as the ability to jump supernodes. Brilliant.

I have tried various others such as Xolox, Morpheus, etc...but Diet-K rules.

i like downloading games rather than mp3 but as pc games are now 2 to 3 disks they are harder to find,

any ideas on the better p2p for this

i use kazaalite at the moment.

i use www.suprnova.org, its a site that has stacks of torrent files, you can ussually find alot of Albums, Games, Programs, TV Shows and Movies on there. You need a program called bittorrent to download the actual file after you have the torrent.

I am using Soul Seek and WinMx. Not too many complaints. Soul Seek is good because you can see the average d/l speed you can expect to get from a particular user.

I hear good things about Bit Torrent but I had a quick look and it seems pretty tricky to set up. I get scared off easily.
