I thought Richo was our best by far tonight. 15 marks, 22 touches, 3 goals. Didnt stop trying all night. Yes he may of missed a few easy ones but thats Richo.
Also i thought Tambling showed alot tonight. 18 touches, 10 marks. Ran alot harder. Especially in the 2nd half. Kicked a nice goal and set up a few more shots.
Apart from Brown not alot of others that had standout games. A few that had pretty good games like Pettifer, Johnson and Patto.
All in all, 5 goals, we gave them a scare and gave it a crack. Not the worst effort ive seen by a long shot.

Richo then Browny. Jacko did a reasonable job on Kerr in the second half, after Kerr was brilliant in the first. Raines did a reasonable job on Staker considering he was giving away about 2 feet, and Tambling had a good second half. McGuane was flogged by Hansen in the first half, but came back with a pretty good second half.

I thought the first one he missed was a bit tougher, and out on the full was probably a better result tha a point for us. The other two were bad misses, but no easier than the ones Brown, Reiwoldt, Pettifer, Foley and many others missed that were just as critical.

Nathan Brown missed from a metre out.

Richo was brilliant but couldn't make his match a 10/10 effort because he didn't beat the reigning premiers off his own boot.

Richo was by far our best player. You can not compare him to Lynch because Lynch plays FF, and does not run anywhere near as much as a CHF ala Richo. It wasn't just richo who missed gettable shots on goal last night.

Pettifer is our best kick for goal and he couldn't get a sniff of it.

3) Richo - Despite some critical misses he worked his butt off all night and constantly provided an option.

1) Deledio- Fast becoming my favourite. Uses the ball superbly when he has it.

Anyone who voted Tambling is kidding themselves. He played 1 decent half kicked a great goal and was defensively dead all night. Needs to back himself more like he did for that goal because he has that sort of class.

tamblings last quarter was about right, but sill not good enough. apart from that a couple of his turnovers directly lead to goals and his butterfingered curse reared its ugly head worse than ever. he needs to get a LOT better when the ball is below his knees, but i liked that he at least took them on a bit in the 4th. last night i got a very, very strong feeling that he's not going to make it though

Tambling one of our best was he???? started on Kerr who was the main reason they got away from us I thought, second half he was better but that was because he was left to his own devices with no accountability. he is still a long way off.

Perhaps the fact he played on Kerr in the 1st half was why he had such a good 2nd??
