What play the elite kids on our list like Billy Nicholls, Sipthorp, and um .... Jackson and um .... Roach.

2 years ago we couldn't do what we are doing now because we didn't have Foley, Hughes, Reiwoldt, JON, Tambling, Deledio, McGuane, Polo, Raines, Edwards, Pattison, White, Thursfield, Meyer, King, Howat pushing for senior positions. Before the season's out we'll be able to add Collins and Connors and hopefully Casserely to that group.

3 drafts and 20 kids. Add Polak and Simmonds and Pat Bowden and we weren't wasting those years. We were building a brand new team from scratch.

Exactly. Too many supporters think it's all about a youth policy and nothing else. You need the youth to promote a youth policy.

Nope not wasted, the kids that are playing now have been developing the past 2 years, theres only so many new players you can introduce.

That makes sence.

But i still get the feeling that the performances over the last 2 years have been a waste, only because we played above ourselves.
I knew we had to take a step backwards eventually but I didn't realise that we were so far off the mark. It's almost as we snuck a couple of extra (cheeky sneaky) steps and have been called back to where we should be and now we have to take another step.

Instead of 2 steps forward 1 step back, it's more like 3 steps forwards 4 steps back.
Not sure if that made sence?

But at the sametime I know the only way now is forward. The kids will only improve and when they are 23-26 years old watch out.
