Best torrent client

Whats the best torrent client? I'm using Bitcomet and they have a stupid ranking system that allocates you resources based on your ranking. Does utorrent shape your download speed as well?

I use Vuze and have stuck with it through many an upgrade since I've installed it back in '05. Yes, it's resource hoggy, but I couldn't be arsed importing all those zillion files and recursive directories into utorrent. Besides, it's been rock solid, and the features are pretty damn good.

I'd rather download at line speed (1.5 mb/s) consistently than try to find a good tracker or however they work. Plus no upload

How do you point utorrent to the existing files and directories? From what I've been reading, the original .torrent files are needed in order to do this, but I no longer have these files. Unless I'm doing it wrong?

I've used a few. Was on Vuze for a while but man, does it drain the resources. You can only really use it overnight. So I'm on uTorrent now and have never had an issue with it.
