Dosbox is an emulator and a bit different to the other programs you list. Use this so long as the game is native dos. Some early windows games were launchable from windows but ran under dos wile others required windows so it depends on the game. Otherwise take your pick depending on the host computer.

From my Trying them. VitrualBox comes up with lot of Error when trying to Install Windows and Simmlar in VMWare. Worked fine Vitrual PC 2007. is 2007 the Latest Version?

So Stick with Vitrual PC then?

I do use DosBox for Dos Games I have

Never tried to install 98 in a VM. I guess the first step is reading which guest OS's the different programs support. Are you installing from CD or an ISO file? I think you will need an ISO as older CDs might not be bootable.

You're probably better off getting an old spare hard drive and trying to install it on that, or boot off a USB thumb drive for anything that requires an old version of Windows and can't be run in DosBox. Or considering you're probably pirating all this anyway, just look for GoG (Good Old Games) releases (or buy them online), they re-release old games DRM free that run on current OS's.

Alternatively, you can play a lot of DOS games in a browser on Archive.org

Virtual box is pretty good, however the guest additions don't support OS's under xp, but you can still find the drivers on the web anyway

How can I run old Windows off a USB Drive. Never heard that you can do that before. As that could be a Good Soloution.

Heard of GOG but trying to keep it as Cheap as Possible

Look up ISO's images.

You can burn an image of your entire PC and OS then just run it from DOS on another computer. It can be complected stuff.

Why not just run DosBox from your Win 8/10 PC and be done with it?

They come up when to Play or Install. Saying they are Windows Games and Not Dos Games. So can't Install or Play on Dosbox
Yeah. Sounds like you'll need their correspondening windows OS.

You could partition the hard drive and run several Windows OS on the one computer.
