His kicking might be good but his decision making cancels that out. When he gets the ball anywhere defensive side of centre we lose whatever run and momentum we may have because he stops, props, spins, back pedals, stalls, spins again, back pedals then kicks, losing all his options and having to kick to a contest. Much better in the forward half, will run at goal and hit a lead or hit the goal square.

Ha trust me, I knew all of that already. Its just that these days when he takes three bounces up the wing, stops, turns around and kicks backwards, at least he hits a target.
