The newest game from Heavy Rain, Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy developer Quantic Dream. Shown off for the first time at Sony's E3 Press Conference. This game is set to have a supernatural element to it. And is said to deal with death in a way that's never been seen before in video games.

And yes, that is Ellen Page, the real Ellen Page, unlike the one in The Last of Us.

Never played Heavy Rain but loved the concept of it, and even watched a guy play the whole ****ing game lol. Will definitely buy, but that reminds me, gotta go buy Heavy Rain.

Oh and it has Ellen Page in it, Win!

I enjoyed Heavy Rain but I never felt like I wouldn't finish it. I dunno, maybe I just can't be bothered playing a game as a little girl.

Your double negative isn't not confusing.

What do you mean by never felt like you wouldn't finish it? Did you finish the game or not?

I finished it. I'm full blown flu today so sense no make well. I went into the game knowing I would finish it. Was not challenging at all.

It's kind of the way the game is layed out though. There's no fail state, so there's not going to be a point where the challenge can be too overwhelming as the game will continue regardless. It's all about the experience.

Do you find that you have to have a challenge in order to enjoy a game? Or enjoy a game a significant amount? You can't just enjoy the experience and other facets that go outside a game? Have you played Journey, for example? It's a game in a similar vein, where you will get to the end unless you literally stop playing, but the experience in getting there is an incredible thing to behold.

When you say you go into the game knowing you would finish, isn't that something that you would want to hope for with every game? Or do you hope to get stuck on some part that's so hard you quit it and never go back?

I don't want to start playing a game for the movie experience. So yes I prefer being challenged. I have quit many games for being to challenging and gone back months later and finished them, some still beat me. Some I refuse to go back to, others I want to find time to finish.

Heavy rain was fun, beautiful and enjoyable. But I would never play it again. I'm still yet to play L.A Noir but I always look at it and contemplate buying it when I see it.

Nothing I have seen of this makes me want to buy it. Whereas games like Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3 and The Last Of Us have me eager for the next snippet.

In all reality though I'll likely play this, finish it and forget about it.

Guess it all comes down to preference.

I like games like this because it is very easy to immerse yourself into the storyline and it's best experience, I've had, where it makes you feel like your living the actual plot.

I'm looking forward to this, i really enjoyed Heavy Rain.
That reminds me i should go finish it again and get a better ending. :p

Willem Dafoe revealed as another big name actor in the game. Here's a behind the scenes and game trailer for him and his character.

My gosh. 2 Souls Willem looks more convincing than the real life version these days

Hopefully Cage crowbars a homage of that scene in Auto Focus where Willem is caught on camera giving Greg Kinnear's prostate a massage during an orgy. IT WAS A GROUP GROPE!

Actual gameplay footage shown off for the game, showing off similar Heavy Rain like QTE's as well as some more hands on gameplay it would seem with the whole 'ghost' like aspect.

Liking the horror like elements, could play well in the game.
