Nah, not me grizz. Psi-Amp's destroy the game (well battlescape's anyway), as they're designed to get you to the "final mission", not to be used as a weapon. (You can actually defeat an entire battleship (40+ aliens) just with one soldier, and the rest of the crew using mind control.

Current Mission:
Skyranger 8 intercepting a small UFO, landed in northern Europe. Landing during day time - luckily seeing as this is our first "non-crashed" ufo.

Yep, great piloting Pess. Landing us in the corner of the map, so we can see.....nothing. At least we know which way we need to sweep.

From his vantage point (ok, so he was hiding in the bushes ), Pessimistic watches a procession of Aliens throughout the entire mission. Too afraid to pull the trigger, instead he just radio's in their position, as Cosmo Kramer, buddy23 and Hawkers spend a few hundred rounds. Pessimistic decided to hang around for the photoshoot mind you....doubt the story will be told in his pool room though.

After sweeping the UFO, Davo23, and xellis come accross the last two aliens in what can only be described as a "compromising position". Still, I suppose if you were the last person on earth.....

No, it's not Australia v American Samoa, but it was 20 kills to zero. Congratulations to Pessimistic on leading a flawless mission....

...for which he's duly recognised, promoted to Colonel, where he'll join the XCOM leadership team. Cosmo promoted for his great sharp-shooting work, whilst lethalselbow was promoted for.....well I don't really know, seeing as not only did he not kill any aliens....he didn't even see any.

Current Mission
Terror Site #1 - Novosibirsk.

Sparsely populated area for our first Terror Mission, we come up against the flying pink things again. Gary Shadforth leads the Asia-13 Squad into battle.


Hawkstars makes the first kill, covering GoaldenHawk.

Goalden takes down the second himself with some quick reactions.

Goalden snipes an unsuspecting alien....and his brother right behind him with the same salvo.

...before being gunned down himself. Kevie Yang continues the battle.

...but it's Hawkamania that takes the kill.

Gary Shadforth makes an incredible shot from accross the battlefield (notice he stays well out of danger?), before

Kevie Yang puts it down with one shot.

Colonel Shadforth, makes protection of the civilian his priority, blocking the only exit. (Ok, so I'm being generous here)

Hawkstars gets caught in a face-to-face shootout, and wins.

Kevie Yang with another long-range effort, revealing another, but runs out of time.

Hodgies Heroes spends his entire turn shooting, but hits nothing.

Buddy and the Hawk takes out one hiding behind a glass door. (Hmm...laser weapons and glass....)

The last alien is well protected, but Cheeseman runs into the open, making the impossible shot to end the mission.

We saved......1 Civilian. And lost GoaldenHawk, Boyler_Room, and illnino in doing so. Supposedly that's "Good". Welcome to the PC world of mission rankings.

Hawkamania is promoted in place of the departed Goalden_Hawk.
