Big Footy Poker Premiers Season 3 Round 1 has been run and won... We had 21 participants for Round 1 and the tournament lasted just under 2 hours. The overall winner of the tournament was dpt12, dpt12 helped the Geelong Cats to a win over Port Adelaide.

This season we will compete @ PokerStars ($5 + 50c tournaments).

The Round 2 Tournament has been created (Tourney ID 261526171) for 8.30pm EST Wednesday 21st April 2010.

You can get to the tourney by opening Pokerstars and going to Requests -> Find a Tournament and then entering the id of 261526171

The password is: bigfooty.

When the tournament is played I will need the team you support if you have not previously provided your team.

The Season will be contested over 15 Rounds (Rounds 4 - 18 of the AFL Season). The finals will be contested between Rounds 19 - 22 between the top 8 sides after the regular season.

The 2nd Round of the season will see the following matchups:

Western Bulldogs vs Adelaide Crows
Sydney Swans vs West Coast
Melbourne vs Brisbane Lions
Port Adelaide vs St Kilda
Collingwood vs Essendon
Hawthorn vs North Melbourne
Fremantle vs Richmond
Carlton vs Geelong Cats

Played last night and was reemed by Bunny Puppy, Anyway thats poker. But I guess I don't need to tell you that, loosing with Pocket Aces.

Whilst 8.30pm is a reasonable time to start, considering we have other states such as WA who may want to play is it feasible to puch it out to 9pm so that at least the WA peeps may have a chance to get on at 7pm?

Hey DoggyStyle...

I am happy to hear from others... esp the WA people... I am from WA and failed to make it in time.. but I wasn't that late. It's a fine balance between being available for everyone and not having the tournament run too late...

If we find more support for shifting it 1/2 an hr later i'll make the change... until then i'll leave as is...

I will leave it at 8.30 this week and have a look for next week.. doesnt seem to be much debate on the subject!

I'm in. Registered as Tockleys. Been wanting to play one of these for yonks but Wednesdays has always been the worst night for me.. until now. :thumbsu:
 
Talking about the Lidge Trophy...

I was thinking about the best way I can re-invent this trophy for the current season.. at the moment I am thinking that the person will the most points at the end of the season could be awarded this...

Happy to hear others thoughts...
 
Yeah, I might have a look-see tonight. Haven't played BF poker for a few years.

Haven't been on stars for a while either.

Paul'....my Stars tag from memory is jor136 and Hawthorn obviously.

I cant find the Tourney! I dont have the "Private" under "Tourney", only "All, "Satellite", and "Regional"....

...hmm, maybe coz I've never deposited real money?

Not sure.. have you tried searching the Tourney ID itself.

This can be done by selecting Requests -> Find a Tournament and then entering the id of 261526171
 
yep, but I dont have a "Find Tournaments" under Requests...

And there is no cashier button so I can add money.
I've checked I have the latest version of the s/w from pokerstars.com
