It won’t matter in this instance, but, in future please include your last pick in the draft etc.. to keep it balanced. I’m assuming that trade will have just opened up Drew’s next unused pick for him and shut down Darcy’s last “active” pick. The old platform didn’t handle it but to keep things balanced, just include the balancing piece.. otherwise we’re opening ourselves up to situations where I trade out a player for a future pick which opens up a new draft pick for me in the draft..

The system auto killed pick 71 when I selected so it seems to recognise and address the list imbalance.

The way it works on keeper (to the best of my
Understanding) is Drew will only have 44 players on his list until he picks a player up from waivers after round 1 when they open.

How? The system seems to have opened up the last pick he needs to take to fill his list. He’ll get a good 3rd round pick next year to more than make up for it. Think the trade was pretty fair tbh as I always offer overs to get a player I want.

I would say because the draft order immediately updated to provide Drew with a 45th pick? (Pick 128 I imagine..) so pick 71 was taken off and Pick 128 was added in..

Yeah apparently talk of him taking over from Hewett so certainly worth a punt.
