First you say 4 and now 7 but you have named 2. Yes Kennedy has gone and so has banner but he wasn't in Darleys best 7 for the reasons stated from other posters. Who are the other 6?

from what I hear at devils they will gain more than the have lost

only blokes who are leaving are the two stated kennedy and banner, others may retire but not known yet

already have some good recruits and many coming back who missed parts of 2016 thru injury

wont be enough to challenge the soon to be broke pathers or bacchus

As opposed to Melton Sths inspired recruiting of 35 and 36yos..
I get it, you're excited, as you're more than entitled to be by all of the recruits but it counts for sfa unless they actually achieve something on the field.

Some of those will play, and one of them is a made up name.

It's not Darley you need to worry about though

You are very good at maths,not so much names. But you still only have 2. Zesty is Ziggy I think and he's only missing a few while overseas. Keep guessing patty boy you'll get number 3 eventually. One of them is a made up name. Classic.

Macalister was barely best 22 even with all the injuries. Abe Cameron went ahead of him
Closter only played a handful of games and from what I heard, wasn't committed.
And grenfell didn't get near his 2015 form.
Them 3 weren't in their top 7 players Pat!

Scotland, even at 37, will be one of the best in the comp on a dry deck. Skills on both sides are better than anyone. We all know that. Keeps himself in good shape. Eg- that episode of the recruit this year when he was playing for AFLPA team against the recruits (the final 5) and beat 3 of them in the running stats on the gps.

His twice the player Houllihan and Thornton are, at league and local level.

You are talking pre salary cap, South can only spend the same as everyone else. They will pay double, which is cheating

Mate get over yourself. Don't you think they are gonna be massively scuitanized by the bfl. As soon as someone apart from darley recruit a few good players youse carry on..give south some credit. They keep going down the same path and they get bagged but as soon as there lucky enough to get a few high profile recruits people still bag them. They have been bad for a few years but have always had great support.
It wasn't long ago darley didn't win a game for a season either and they changed things and recruited.
Blokes like u a the reason darley and fans are hated.
Stop being jealous and move on champ

just trying to create a bit of buzz for the members, supporters, sponsors new and old and young players. Doesn't matter what they do at the moment 90% of people are negative towards it. A lot of hard work has been done over the years and starting to reap a small reward. You should know how hard it is to come back after a winless season. Anyway good for the comp

Was, like a few, predicting them to finally give it a shake next year with the foundations they have laid with their locals... Hopefully they still have some recruits to announce.

Looking at there recruits theres some class, but the blokes they got crossing over alone would be upwards off 200k, May be your right but thats an expensive list of players, Fev, banner, lynch thornton was awful at deer park not sure where he went afterwards. Lynch would have been on a packet at abers, Apparently kennedy from deer park is on his way to souths since spending 1 year at deer park having been one of the better defenders in the NFL. Theres ways around the salary cap everyone knows that. Good on them no doubt they will be there around the mark for a few seasons, but it doesn't guarantee them a flag.
